Seminar - International Advanced Master (EnvIM) - December 2010
Nowadays, managing company or community waste has become a basic component of any environmental or sustainable development manager’s activity. The increase in the number of French and European standards concerning waste, notably industrial waste, means that in-depth knowledge of the physical and chemical characteristics of the products treated, current regulations, applicable treatments and market players is required.
As is the case each year, the two-week seminar organised in December 2010 by the Lyon INSA on this subject enabled students of the Advanced Master Program in International Environmental Management (EnvIM) to comprehend the main issues related to the sector, meet the professionals and researchers involved and visit treatment sites.
Through case studies approached from a practical standpoint, students thus tackled certain themes:
Gwenaëlle Bröns-Laot, Emmanuel Vernus, Jacques Méhu
Jaques Méhu, Christine Bazin, Laurence Grelier-Volatier
